He spent his early childhood with his sister Generous in South Africa, and at 10, the introverted Mthetheleli developed an interest in computers. During this time, He taught himself how to program, and when he was 12 he made his first foray into art and graphic design. At age 18, in 2006, he moved to Pretoria to attend The Pretoria University and study towards a bachelors degree in Human Resources, but he left in 2007 to study business and communication at the University of Stellenbosch. He graduated with an undergraduate degree in economics and stayed for a second bachelor's degree in physics.
