PROGRAM COORDINATOR, VIVIDUS MEN OLD CHAIRPERSON'S PANEL, VIVIDUS MEN DAY HOUSE, UNIVERSITY OF PRETORIA
I serve as the program director for Vividus Men's old Chairpersons panel. The panel is directed at teaching managerial and leadership skills to current student leaders through liaison with previous chairpersons of the Day House. This is a program that creates opportunities for alumni members from the University of Pretoria to allow House members to develop their professional network and also to secure funding and networking opportunities for current day students on the University of Pretoria. I am responsible to coordinate and manage the program, this includes handling financial matters, administration, member's affairs and the general coordination of the program.
MENTORSHIP PROGRAM DEVELOPER AND FACILITATOR, DEPARTMENT OF STUDENT AFFAIRS, UNIVERSITY OF PRETORIA
I am in charge of revising the Mentorship training program, with special focus on introducing cultural diversity and development. I am the program writer and main facilitator for both new facilitators and mentors. I am the author of the facilitation manual as well as the mentorship workbook for this program. Duties includes sourcing and training new facilitators, program and skills development, facilitation and training, administrative duties, program and members support and technical development of the program.
TUKSRES LEADERSHIP ACADEMY PROGRAM DEVELOPER AND FACILITATOR, DEPARTMENT OF RESIDENCE AFFAIRS AND ACCOMMODATION, UP.
I am involved in writing and facilitating the Level 1 and 2 section of the Tuksres leadership academy training program. This program focuses on responsible and sustainable leadership development on 5 levels of tertiary education, allowing students to develop their personal and leadership skills from first year to postgraduate level. Level 1 is based in personal development of the individual in preparation for leadership, this is done in the initial few months of their first years. specifically focused on general leadership
development with the application of personal development focused on future leadership aimed at students in their first years going on to their second years with the aim of preparing them for more institutionalized training as they move in to level 3 as members of organized leadership structures of the University of Pretoria. Duties includes writing program content for these levels, training and facilitation, program and skills development, administrative duties, program and members support and technical development of the program. It also includes marketing of the program.
INTERIM HEAD OF RESIDENCE - HUIS NERINA, DEPARTMENT OF RESIDENCE AFFAIRS AND ACCOMMODATION, UNIVERSITY OF PRETORIA
I was the interim head of residence at Huis Nerina. In this position I fulfilled the role of Residence manager. This was a live in position that required 24 Hour guidance and support in the running of the residence and its students. In this time I was responsible to oversee the financial and administrative operations of the Executive Committee.
