UJ awarded a new research chair by Nedbank
Nedbank has awarded the University of Johannesburg (UJ) professor Terence van Zyl as its research chair. Van Zyl will work towards and develop advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.
The professor, a frontrunner in data science research and Einstein Awardee (CSIR Research and Innovation), is heading up the new Nedbank Research Chair as 1 July. This Chair is housed within UJ's Institute for Intelligent Systems (IIS).
