Sap appoints Emmanuel Raptopoulos as new EMEA South region president

Emmanuel Raptopoulos has been named president of Sap's EMEA South region, which includes southern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He will be reporting to Scott Russell, an executive board member for Sap customer success. Sap's EMEA South region has a presence in 75 countries, 24 offices and 5,000 employees across the region.

The Milan-based Raptopoulos succeeds Claudio Muruzabal, president of Sap's global cloud success services. Sap's newly formed organisation combines over 20,000 of its most talented and experienced employees to provide services that help its customers get the most out of Sap's cloud solutions.

Raptopoulos' lengthy track experience at Sap in leadership roles in general management, sales, operations and consulting in Europe and the Middle East illustrates his ability to develop a high-performance culture of inclusivity and creativity.
