Seaborn appoints new senior VP, head of Latin America

Subsea fiber optic cable systems company Seaborn Networks has announced the appointment of Michel Marcelino as senior vice president, head of Latin America. Marcelino will oversee Seaborn's sales organisation, channel strategies and hold the company's most senior officer in Brazil. He joins Seaborn from Vogel Telecom where he served as the chief business development officer, and prior to that, he was at American Tower where he was in charge of sales and marketing.

Seaborn's CEO Larry Schwartz commented on Marcelino's appointment: "Michel brings a wealth of established relationships within the wholesale telecom industry and a deep knowledge of the Latin American telecoms market. We have known and worked with Michel for many years and we are thrilled to have him on our team," Schwartz said.
