Avaya appoints managing director for Africa region

Avaya has appointed Hatem Hariri as managing director for all of Africa, effective immediately.

Previously managing director for North, West, East and Central Africa, Hariri has been instrumental in driving the region's growth throughout his career with Avaya, having opened multiple offices for the company. He has built and developed a strong team, created outstanding business opportunities despite the diversified challenges of his geography, and delivered numerous long-term, high-profile large accounts, resulting in double-digit growth year-on-year, overseeing some of the biggest deals in the region.

Hariri will focus on delivering engagement solutions that enable deep and broad connections between customers that lead to better business outcomes.
