BevSA appoints new executive director
The Beverage Association of South Africa (BevSA) has announced Mapule Tiny Ncanywa as its new Executive Director. Ncanywa, who comes from the Consumer Goods Council of SA (CGCSA), brings a diverse set of skills and experience to the role. She has worked in both the private and public sectors in fields of IT, HR, Financial Administration and Corporate Affairs.
Ncanywa will be responsible for establishing BevSA to function as an independent organisation and hub of industry-specific scientific studies and research. She will collect, collate, tabulate and disseminate any information and statistics likely to be of use to BevSA members and other interested bodies.
Acting as spokesperson for BevSA, she will also lead industry participation in the development of policies and positions for South Africa's non-alcoholic beverage industry and advise members on policy, regulatory and legislative issues.
