Niël Groenewald to oversee Distell's wine production
Distell has appointed Niël Groenewald as its new head winemaker. Groenewald is to oversee the production of Distell's wine portfolio ahead of the 2018 vintage.
Groenewald joins Distell following 14 vintages as the chief winemaker at Bellingham. In addition to being a winemaker, Groenewald is also a marketing specialist and holds an MBA from UCT and a BSc Hons from Stellenbosch University.
