Busisiwe Mahlaba appointed editor of True Love magazine

Media24 Women's Magazines today announced the appointment of Busisiwe Mahlaba as the new editor of True Love magazine.

Busi brings a wealth of skills to True Love: media and agency experience in strategic planning, brand management for some of South Africa's top brands, and extensive knowledge of the African market. She has demonstrated management and leadership skills, has a clear understanding and appreciation of brands, and has honed her communication skills as presenter for M-Net Africa.

"In today's competitive media environment it is vital that an editor boasts a variety of skills," says publisher Marí Lategan. "True Love is a powerful brand and needs to evolve with its market - someone with such a strong background in brand leadership, advertising, research and marketing was an obvious first choice. We are thrilled Busi will be joining the team!"

Busisiwe Mahlaba will commence editorship on 1 February 2004.
