Business development executive appointed for FibreCo

FibreCo has appointed Sammy Thamsanqa Mafu, the previous chief marketing and sales officer for Broadband Infraco, as its new business development executive. Mafu will be tasked with growing the company through new business initiatives and will be responsible for aligning FibreCo's growth strategy with the government's national policy framework.

With over 21 years of telecommunications experience in sales, marketing, product development, strategy and commercial deal structuring, Mafu has also worked as a founder staff member at Cell C and has held positions at JDA, Telkom, MTN and Siemens.
