New CEO announced for Peermont
Peermont Hotels, Casinos and Resorts has appointed Nigel Atherton as its new Group CEO. Atherton was previously the joint acting CEO and operations executive at the Emperors Palace Hotel. Atherton is a qualified CA and previously worked for KPMG as an auditor.
Peermont has also appointed Thabo Mokoena, the previous joint acting CEO and development executive of the group, as its new deputy CEO. The appointments follow the former CEO, Anthony Puttergill's departure earlier this year - Puttergill now serves as the non-executive chairman of Peermont.
