Clarion Events appoints managing director
The Clarion Events group has appointed Dele Alimi as its new managing director for the new Clarion Events West Africa Office in Lagos, Nigeria. Alimi was previously director of trade promotion and international relations for the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Alimi has several years of experience in sectors such as media, finance and manufacturing and has spearheaded hosting of West Africa's largest trade fair, Lagos International Trade Fair, for the last seven years.
