Martie Malan appointed Director of Leisure Sales at Arabella Sheraton

Martie Malan, who has recently taken up the appointment as Director of Leisure Sales at Arabella South Africa, brings with her a wealth of local and international marketing and sales skills in the travel industry.

Martie returns to Cape Town after 26 years away, joining Arabella South Africa from the recently developed Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and Kruger National Park, where she set up marketing departments and identified new market segments. Her previous roles include Director of Sales and Marketing for East, West and Southern Africa for Hilton International.

She has extensive experience in the local South African travel field, having established a marketing company to conduct research into the local hotel market, providing solutions to clients on how to optimise their presence in the South African market. She is particularly excited at the prospect of pioneering a relatively new and superior brand.
