New appointments at Toyota Motor Corporation
The Toyota Motor Corporation (Japan) has announced the following appointments within the global management structure which impacts on Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) and the Africa Region:
• Dr Johan van Zyl has been appointed chairman of TSAM. Van Zyl was previously president and CEO of TSAM. He will also continue to function as the CEO of the Europe Region based in Brussels.
• Takeshi Isogaya has been appointed as CEO of Africa Region based in Tokyo Japan.
• Andrew Kirby, currently serving as executive vice president and chief operating officer of TSAM, has been appointed as the president and chief executive officer of TSAM, based in Durban.
