New appointments at Boeing

The Boeing board of directors has elected Leanne Caret as president and chief executive officer of the company's defence, space and security business. Leanne will succeed Chris Chadwick, who has announced his retirement from the company. In addition to the new appointment, she joins the company's executive council and becomes the Boeing executive vice president. Caret has been with the company for 28 years and currently heads the global services and support business. Ed Dolanski will succeed Leanne as president of global services and support. Dolanski is currently president and chief executive officer of Aviall, a Boeing subsidiary.
