Boeing board of directors elect new chairman

The Boeing board of directors has elected Dennis A. Muilenburg as its new chairman succeeding W. James (Jim) McNerney; who has stepped down from the board after announcing his retirement. Muilenberg has spent the past two years as president and chief operating officer of Boeing working closely with McNerney on the day-to-day business operations and stakeholder engagement. His experience includes numerous assignments in engineering and program management across the company.
