Rapid Blue commissions Johnny Clegg to write new SuperSport theme music
SuperSport has kicked off the month of September with a new theme piece to coincide with the build up to Rugby World Cup. Conceived by Rapid Blue, the song is called Amajongosi – an Afrikaans word adapted into Zulu, meaning ‘young oxen’, but with metaphoric connections of the ideal of the young warrior.
This new theme piece replaces the popular “Stand Up” theme with a far more African and patriotic feel.
