New addition to The Puggle Academy

Platypus Productions is happy to welcome a new addition to The Puggle Academy. As there is no official name for a Platypus baby, Platypus Productions adopted one of the more well known versions, the puggle. Platypus Productions started the academy as a mentoring programme to focus on fresh, enthusiastic students and graduates who are looking for a way to break into the industry and gain valuable work experience.

Daniel Rutland Manners recently joined the branded entertainment department as a development researcher. Daniel graduated from the University of Cape Town with a BA Honours in Film Theory and Practice. Working under Anthony Wayment, creative director of content, he will be assisting in the formulation and formatting of branded content ideas for television, mobile and web.
