New on the House and Leisure menu

From the June 2007 issue, local foodie Neil Roake will be joining the House and Leisure team. Neil, who is based in Durban, will be taking over from Phillippa Cheifitz as House and Leisure’s food editor.

Neil has generated a wide portfolio of food-related projects over the past decade. He began his food journey at Food & Home magazine, and has since worked on titles such as Marie Claire, Elle and Elle Decoration. Neil has also contributed to a book, Life Soweto Style, and writes a weekly food column, "Absolutely Starving", for The Independent on Saturday.
