Sue Grant appointed president of the ABF

Sue Grant has been appointed as the new president of the Advertising Benevolent Fund (ABF).

Sue is well known in marketing and advertising circles. At present she is the Market Intelligence Manager at Tiger Brands. After leaving Markinor as CEO in 1998, Sue formed SMG Consulting - specialising in business intelligence. Over the last three years Sue has worked on a variety of projects with a number of different companies in the marketing and business areas.

Sue is a full member of SAMRA (a significant contributor to the ABF) and an Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Marketing Management (IMM). She is a former president of the Executive Women's Club, a past President of the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, (the first woman president in the Chamber's 110 years history), and was on the Board of Management of the South African Chamber of Business (SACOB).

She brings to the position a commitment to enhancing the image and membership of the Fund among both the advertising agencies as well as the broader marketing community.
