Tourvest appoints Akona Mdlulwa as managing director of Singapore Airlines GSA
Tourvest has appointed Akona Mdlulwa as managing director of Singapore Airlines General Sales Agency (GSA) – Afro Asian Travel Services.
An admitted attorney, Mdlulwa joined Tourvest in 2019 as head of commercial law at Tourvest Travel Services, where she played a key role in risk management, compliance, and business growth.
She established the TTS legal department, supported key business functions, and introduced internship and workplace learning programmes.
With experience across multiple industries, she brings strong leadership and strategic expertise to her new role.
