Alstom appoints new managing director for Southern Africa
Alstom has appointed Tristan le Masne as managing director of Alstom Southern Africa, based in Johannesburg. He succeeds Bernard Peille, who has transitioned to lead Alstom’s Latin America cluster.
In this role, he will assume full responsibility for the growth of Alstom’s portfolio in Southern Africa and will provide strategic oversight for the company's four entities in South Africa: Gibela Rail joint venture (JV), Alstom Rolling Stock South Africa JV, Bombela Maintenance JV and Alstom Ubunye.
