Comutanet appoints Kenneth Maomela as Executive Chairman

Kenneth Maomela has been appointed Executive Chairman of ComutaNet after holding the position of Deputy Chairman since July 2003.

Maomela's acceptance in 1999 of the position as Commercial Director at ComutaNet followed a planned career as Sales Development Manager for Nestlé; Sales Manager with South African Breweries; National Sales Manager for Sun Air and National Customer Portfolio Manager for Spoornet.

A passion to teach and lead saw Maomela obtain a National Diploma in teaching before discovering a leaning towards business, especially in marketing. He obtained a marketing diploma with the Institute of Marketing Management and went on to study sales management in London before completing his MBA degree in General Management with Bond University, Australia. He recently completed a JSE programme at Wits University in Investment Finance.
