Icasa appoints an interim chairperson
Dr Charley Lewis has been appointed acting chairperson of the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) between 16 July 2022 and 03 April 2023 or until a permanent chairperson is nominated in accordance with section 5(1B) of the ICASA Act, 2000. (Act No. 13 of 2000). The appointment of Councillor Lewis comes as Icasa bids farewell to its outgoing Chairperson, Dr Keabetswe Modimoeng.
