Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber promotes Prince Mpumelelo Matonsi to COO

Prince Mpumelelo Matonsi has been promoted to chief operations officer of the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber, starting in January 2022.

Matonsi who has worked as the Chamber's operations manager for five years, will assume additional roles and responsibilities to assist in the implementation of the Chamber's new strategic plan.

Matonsi has a proven track record of tackling business-related issues, driving skill development efforts, leading task teams to generate meaningful outcomes and promoting good stakeholder collaboration. Prior to joining the Chamber, he managed operations for non-profits and corporations.

He holds an MBA from Bradford University in the UK, an honours degree in business management from the University of Zimbabwe and a national diploma in advanced sourcing and supply chain management from the University of South Africa.
