Kleos appoints chief innovation officer

Space-powered radio frequency reconnaissance data-as-a-service (DaaS) company, Kleos Space S.A., has appointed co-founder Miles Ashcroft as its chief innovation officer. In this newly-created role, Ashcroft will oversee the company's research and innovation activity.

Ashcroft commented on his new appointment: "I'm very excited by the new role which requires a holistic approach that takes into account satellite and data product diversity, new software methods and algorithms, data intelligence provision capability and Kleos' constellation use and satellite cluster interaction."

Kleos has also promoted its US-based technical director, Vincent Furia, to the role of chief technology officer.
