Shoprite Group makes a number of new senior appointments

The Shoprite Group has filled a number of senior vacancies by promoting some of its employees.

Marlon Maistry is the group's new learning quality and assurance governance manager. In this role, Maistry is responsible for quality management and governance across the learning and development value chain.

Other promotions include Johan Lochner becoming head buyer of wine and liquor, Renaldo Phillips becoming head buyer of private label and imports, Jason Christofi becoming head of category management, Gary Sorensen becoming divisional human resources manager of supply chain, and Raeesa Valodia becoming divisional human resources manager of Freshmark.
