Marriott International announces leadership changes for Sub-Saharan Africa region
Hospitality group Marriott International has made key changes to its leadership team in line with its growth plans for the region.
Volker Heiden will take over the area vice president for Sub-Saharan Africa role where he will oversee operations of all managed properties across the region and will be supported by Sean Maher, who has been appointed market vice president for South Africa. Both Heiden and Maher have extensive experience in hospitality having held various positions throughout their careers.
Heiden and his team will be primarily based in Cape Town.
