Wunderman Thompson SA names Miles Murphy as Haydn Townsend's replacement
Miles Murphy will replace Haydn Townsend as the CEO of Wunderman Thompson South Africa. Townsend is relocating to the United Kingdom, later this year, and will serve as Wunderman Thompson South Africa chairperson until the role is filled.
Before his appointment at Wunderman Thompson South Africa, Murphy served as the chief operating officer of Publicis Groupe Africa. He founded Liquorice, now known as Digitas Liquorice, which he sold to Publicis in 2014.
