Barry Christie joins Green Farms Nut Company
Green Farms Nut Company (GFNC) has appointed Barry Christie as its new agricultural and technical manager. This follows the recent appointments of new CEO and industry veteran Allen Duncan and COO Graeme Taylor.
Christie's focus in his new role will be to support growers in adopting better farm management strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes. He will work individually with farmers to develop bespoke plans that directly impact the bottom line.
He will also be organising study groups (utilising industry and subject experts), advice guides, farmers days, farm visits, analysis and reports. His responsibility also includes improving communication from the factory to the farm to deepen trust and transparency.
