Nkonzo Hlatshwayo to chair Hogan Lovells' SA practice

Nkonzo Hlatshwayo is the chairperson of Hogan Lovells' practice in South Africa. He replaces Lavery Modise, whose term as chairperson has come to an end.

Focusing on general competition work, Hlatshwayo represents parties in merger proceedings, complaint proceedings, intervention applications, leniency applications, and cross-border proceedings. He also advises on competition law compliance and audits.

In his three years with the firm, he has been recognised for his in-depth knowledge and understanding of competition law in South Africa and Southern Africa.
