Sponsorship needed for lifeskills workshop

The Girl Talk workshops are about bridging the socio-economic gaps between teenage girls from different backgrounds. Creating this neutral space gives them a chance to explore their challenges together. The girls realise that despite their socio-economic differences, they face the same challenges. WHEAT Women's Fund aims to empower young women to make informed decisions and know their rights. By mixing the group of girls we also try to encourage nation building by building bridges across the deep divisions that still characterise South Africa. We inspire young girls and inform them about the possibilities that life holds for them. It is also a space where WHEAT can encourage philanthropy and promote a culture of giving, reducing entitlement and dependence.
