Pretoria shelter needs assistance
We are a group of students that are doing our practical this year. As part of this practical we have to raise awareness as well as funds for a shelter that takes care of street children.
The shelter is situated in Sunnyside, Pretoria. It is in great need of assistance because the children that are living there are not living in a decent place. The shelter currently takes care of 18 boys who are between the ages of 0 and 18. They live in a two-bedroom house which needs renovation. Currently nine boys share a room.
The boys need food, clothing, bursaries to continue studying, a decent spacious home and hope for the future.
