Sponsorship sought for dynamic visual arts project

CAPE Africa Platform is seeking sponsorship to support X-CAPE, a dynamic arts project that includes exhibitions, events, visual arts, performance, multimedia and craft, stationed at venues across the Cape metropole.

CAPE Africa Platform will be delivering a major pan-African exhibition, titled TRANS CAPE, in Cape Town and is inviting expressions of interest from the corporate sector to support its fringe programme, called X-CAPE.

It is a dynamic visual arts project consisting of approximately 100 artists working collaboratively on 350 projects that includes exhibitions, events, visual arts, performance, multimedia and craft stationed at venues across the Cape metropole.

X-CAPE aims to harness the contributions of local creative communities and provide opportunities for local artists to benefit from an expected 50 000 audience visiting TRANS CAPE. The X-CAPE initiative aims to promote local creative industries.

X-CAPE is supported by Business and Arts South Africa to add marketing value to corporate sponsorships. This sponsorship package offers enormous and multiple marketing and branding benefits and will contribute directly to the artists to assist with marketing, installation and equipment to showcase their work.
