Sponsorship for Cap City e-mag (hip-hop magazine)
The magazine itself is printed on a CD-rom. The reason for this is twofold:
• Interactivity – The magazine is designed using Flash software which allows for the magazine to be interactive in its nature. The interactivity also allows not only for the magazine to have text and pictures, but also have music and videos. The magazine doubles up as a music CD when inserted in a CD player.
• Value-added advertising opportunities – Because the magazine is interactive in its nature, it also means adverts don’t have to be only in pic format, but 3D logo’s, pop-ups, scrolls and videos can be utilized. It is believed this allows our potential clients to have a range of advertising options that they can choose from which will suit their needs and their budgets. The magazine is called Cap City, short for Capital City of the Hip Hop culture.
We are looking for a brand that will be willing to be the overall sponsor for the magazine, which will see us being able to cover the product development and product production and packaging costs. We believe this will empower us to negotiate from a strong point when approaching publishers. Also this allows us to be able to follow our dream of eventually having our own publishing company that will put out this product as a stand alone product.
