Project Proposal for Literary Freshers Fair
South African universities have been confronted by students strike and protests across the country. The strikes are inspired by the challenges that are encountered by the children of the proletariats and peasants. Those challenges are shortage in funding, academic material, accommodation, and food insecurity. The aim of the project is to host a fund-raising event by student leaders to buy more prescribed books for the students who are in need or NSFAS beneficiaries.
The primary aim is to raise funds to buy prescribed books for those who are in need and NSFAS beneficiaries. And to stimulate the spirit of entrepreneurship and solutions-orientated student populus. Our projects are aimed to assist UNISA students within the Johannesburg region, and entrepreneurs to sell at the stall must be from UNISA in the Johannesburg region.
The event will take place at the University of South Africa Science Campus Gateway field, on 31 July 2020, from 12pm to 9pm.
We humbly request assistance to score more sponsors who are willing to donate anything (besides monetary donations) that will help us host a successful fundraising concert.
