- Minimum of a postgraduate or master’s degree.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a business environment, with a focus on Learning and Development, preferably within executive education.
- Business development experience is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles, learning trends and the competitive learning landscape.
- Proven experience engaging with senior, executive, C-suite and board-level clients in an advisory or consulting capacity.
- Coaching or process facilitation certification would be advantageous.
- Professional registration with bodies such as HPCSA, SABPP or COMENSA would be advantageous.
- Represent the brand in the corporate learning and development market.
- Develop new and existing business opportunities.
- Gather, interpret and disseminate market intelligence.
- Conduct market research and identify client, industry and market needs.
- Design integrated learning journeys aligned with client and organisational objectives.
- Monitor emerging trends, research, technologies and practices in executive education.
- Contribute to programme budgets and commercial planning.
- Develop, submit and present learning proposals.
- Ensure compliance with CHE and university short course quality assurance requirements.
- Secure and collaborate with facilitators, guest speakers and suppliers.
- Oversee the creation and quality of learning management system sites and content.
- Facilitate programme delivery and attend key client and participant touchpoints.
- Guide action learning activities and assess group research projects.
- Evaluate learning impact, participant engagement, learning outcomes and client feedback.
