Sales Executive

We are looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Sales Executive to join VUKA Group’s Mining Review Africa team. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of integrated media, publishing, and digital advertising solutions to clients within the mining sector. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in media sales, a deep understanding of the publishing landscape, and a passion for building lasting client relationships. You will play a key role in positioning Mining Review Africa as a leading platform in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth by selling print, digital, and integrated advertising solutions across Mining Review Africa platforms.
• Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the mining and industrial sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and key stakeholders.
• Develop tailored media proposals that align with client marketing objectives and campaign goals.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing and post-sale account management.
• Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and events teams to create integrated client solutions.
• Maintain an up-to-date pipeline and accurate reporting using CRM systems.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.

Skills required:

• Proven experience in media, publishing, or advertising sales.
• Strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling across multi-channel platforms (print, digital, and/or events).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong relationship-building and client management capabilities.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience within the mining, industrial, or B2B sectors.
• Existing network of industry contacts within relevant sectors.
• Diploma or degree in sales, marketing, business, or a related field.
• Experience working within a fast-paced media or publishing environment.
