SABC's pay-TV desires

At the start of the ICASA hearings for granting pay-TV licences earlier this week, the SABC “submitted that successful applicants for the country's new cable licence should carry the SABC's own channels and pay the state broadcaster for its intellectual property,” reports the Mail & Guardian Online.
