Agri SA supports job creation through collaboration

Agricultural industry association Agri SA expressed its support of the Job Summit initiative, which encourages collaboration to support job creation. Given its Business Unity South Africa (Busa) membership, the association is a participant in the Nedlac process.

The initiative's interventions to promote job creation include the elevation of agriculture, agro-processing, and the agricultural value chain; the expansion and strengthening of South African exports; and the financing for transformation in agriculture. The summit aims to create 275,000 direct jobs per year to tackle the triple challenge of unemployment, poverty, and inequality.
