SAA to operate new direct flights to Maldives

Starlight Holidays will offer packages to the Maldives after it was appointed as the sole general service agency (GSA) for the new direct non-stop flights between South Africa and the Maldives. The Air Tour Operators, South African Airways (SAA), and the Maldives Ministry of Tourism recently signed a charter agreement, which reintroduces direct flights between the countries for the first time in 20 years.

SAA will operate the charters flights using the Airbus 340 series aircraft, which will offer full business and economy class in-flight services, from 24 November 2018.
