Kwanalu is looking for its 2018 Young Farmer of the Year rep
Kwanalu, KwaZulu-Natal's agricultural union, is on the lookout for the next KZN Young Farmer of the Year. The selected candidate will represent the province at the national Toyota Young Farmer of the Year competition in Pretoria in October 2018.
Farmers under the age of 40, who are either owners or partners in a farm, male or female, and full members of their province's agricultural unions are eligible for entry. The judging and evaluation of the farmers and their agricultural practices take place at a provincial level and evaluates the applicants on all aspects of their business including their overall vision for the future of their farm/business.
Entries for the KZN Young Farmer of the Year competition close on 31 July 2018.
