South African films open overseas
South African produced films Five Fingers for Marseilles and Nommer 37 have attracted international attention.
Michael Matthews' Five Fingers for Marseilles is scheduled to feature in cinemas in New York and Los Angeles from 7 September 2018, before moving to an additional 15 American cities. The film has also secured releases in Japan and Scandinavia with the production schedule to be available on Amazon Prime.
Nommer 37 celebrated its world premiere last month at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival in Austin, Texas.
