Paul van der Velde, a certified Neuro Linguistic Programming trainer and Dutch author, will be in South Africa during May, where he will facilitate the SmartReading workshops. The training will run in Johannesburg on the 11th, 12th of May and 8th of June and in Cape Town on the 14th, 15th of May and 10th of June 2015.
This advanced-reading training will enable participants to read significantly faster, while being just as relaxed. While speed-reading is involved, it's more than just a speed-reading course, of which there are many around. It will enable participants to increase comprehension and concentration, scan documents and develop effective mind-mapping skills. It includes standard techniques, such as removing sub-vocalisation (repeating words in your head when you read), addressing bad reading habits, and also includes more advanced skills, such as, reading multiple lines at once and reading from right to left.
Dick Gerdzen, Founder of BSN, says, "BSN is once again delivering on being excitingly different and I'm personally excited to offer this workshop in South Africa ever since its successful unveiling in The Netherlands as part of our MBA programmes."
