Documentary fest explore controversial subjects
Documentaries on government conspiracy, local farm murders, drugs and science, the holy bloodline, trepanation, 2012, flawed education, Egyptian uprising, outlaws and others will make their debut at the Daring Doccies Documentary Film Festival 2011, 25 November-1 December 2011 at the Labia Theatre in Cape Town.
Most of these are making their South African (and African) theatrical premieres and are described as a wide range of thought-provoking, controversial and award-winning international documentaries. The event also features three topical books.
Following the documentary festival, the Sound On Screen Music Film Festival is set to take place from 2-10 December 2011.
