The New Age appoints news editor
Moses Mudzwiti has been appointed news editor at The New Age, it was announced yesterday, Thursday, 24 November 2010. He replaces Amy Musgrave, who was one of the five senior editorial staff members who walked out hours before launch in October.
Mudzwiti was previously the Zimbabwean correspondent for The Times and over the years has held various managerial positions within South Africa's newsrooms.
"Moses is no stranger to news rooms having worked in newspapers since 1992," says Gary Naidoo, managing editor of The New Age, "and we are pleased to have his experience in managing the news flow as The New Age draws closer to its launch date."
