Furniture City opens unveiling new look store

Furniture City unveiled its new-generation store, situated in Strubens Valley, Roodepoort, Gauteng. The new-look store, boasting 2000m2 under roof, represents the first new-generation store, aimed at creating a customised shopping experience for consumers, and promoting a complete lifestyle setting.

Using a nine-step rule, where consumers encounter a focal point at every nine steps, the store aims to create room setting which consumers can easily recreate at home.

"The modularised and more generous displays have allowed us to introduce and facilitate the presentation of accessories. The use of seasonal accent colours in the store also gives consumers thought-provoking ideas in terms of what can be done at home," says Sharon Leach, Marketing Director, Furniture City. "Our Strubens Valley store is an exciting addition to our other 22 stores. This is a rapidly growing area and we're delighted to bring the West Rand consumers a Furniture City to their doorstep."

Apart from the new Strubens Valley store, Furniture City has also recently completed revamps of two of its Durban stores, Springfield and Game City, as well as its Menlyn store in Pretoria.
