Finalists in Dorp van die Jaar 2011

The finalists for the Kwêla Rapport Dorp van die Jaar competition, sponsored by KykNET, Rapport and Leopard's Leap Wines have been announced. Voting lines opened yesterday, 31 July 2011 and close on 9 August 2011. The winning town will be announced and featured on Kwêla on 10 August 2011 at 7.30pm.

Hartbeespoort (Gauteng/North West);
Richard's Bay (KwaZulu-Natal);
Tzaneen (Limpopo);
Dullstroom (Mpumalanga);
Swakopmund (Namibia);
Cradock (Eastern Cape);
Victoria West (Northern Cape);
Parys (Free State);
De Rust (Western Cape)

"As part of the sponsorship, Leopard's Leap made a commitment to uplifting the hospitality industry and improve the levels of service delivery in the winning town. To do this we will cover the costs of a wine training course by the Cape Wine Academy for 50 waiters," says Hein Koegelenberg, CEO of Leopard's Leap Wines.
