A wonderful initiative: Door of Hope

In honour of Mandela Month, Everlytic held a donation drive for the Door of Hope. This amazing children’s mission cares for abandoned babies and toddlers, and is always in need of basic supplies to help them take care of the children in their care.
The Door of Hope was founded 18 years ago, with a vision of providing a loving home to babies in need. Since their foundation, Door of Hope has helped 1,613 children get a good start in life. They currently have 69 babies in their care.
Once they collected all the donations, the Door of Hope welcomed a small group of Everlytic staff into their home to meet the children in their care. It was an incredible opportunity, and each and every team member was deeply touched by the children and the ladies who care for them.
"It was such a humbling experience seeing what this organisation is doing. They look after these kids as if they were their own while looking for a good family." explained Karyn Strybos, Brand Manager at Everlytic.
"We were also lucky enough to meet one of their babies that went into the system and was adopted when she was four years old. She decided, while on school break from the USA, to come and spend three weeks at the home that looked after her for just over two years. She has had amazing opportunities which started with this very organisation."
