With its focus on sports sponsorship and related marketing activities, the Business of Sport exhibition will address the significant growth of sports sponsorship and associated activities worldwide by exposing visitors to the vast number of high-profile, profitable, promotional opportunities that sport and sport sponsorship affords them.
The second new event this year is an AV pavilion, dedicated exclusively to showcasing business quality audio and video products used for the marketing and promotion of products and services in shopping malls, petrol stations, in-store entertainment/ experiential marketing; banks, airports, cafes and restaurants.
The 2004 Markex & World of Events show attracted 9 785 visitors from all parts of South Africa.
Markex is being held in both Johannesburg (7 - 9 June 2005) and Cape Town, which has moved from the original dates in July, to August 3 - 5. Exhibition visitors can pre-register for their free entrance to the shows at www.markex.co.za and www.markexcape.co.za.
